Authorities say three people are dead and another person was taken to a hospital after a vehicle crash in Columbia County.
The Columbia County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call Sunday night reporting a vehicle was rolled over about three miles south of Portage. The sheriff's office said rescue personnel found four people trapped in the vehicle, a Buick LeSabre.
According to the sheriff's office, an 18-year-old woman driving the car and two male passengers died at the scene. The sheriff's office said one male passenger was transported to a hospital.
The people who died are identified as the driver, Zia Lynn Rowin of Oxford; 26-year-old Donald Pangburn of Baraboo; and 19-year-old Jack Stalker, of Montello.
The crash remains under investigation, but authorities believe speed was a significant contributing factor.
