Las Vegas, NV : 1 person dead in rollover on U.S. 95 near Mt. Charleston on Tuesday morning, February 3, 2015

A person's body found just off U.S. 95 outside of the Las Vegas Valley appeared to have died as a result of a single-vehicle crash.

Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel of Nevada Highway Patrol confirmed a call of the incident at 7:45 a.m. near the Lee Canyon turn-off just east of U.S. 95. at mile marker 106.

Stuenkel originally reported a person's body was found in a vehicle. She later clarified a motorist appeared to have been ejected from a gray Chevy pick-up truck that rolled over.

A man died at the scene, Stuenkel said.

The accident is under investigation. There were no resulting road closures, NHP said.
