Bay Minette, AL : Woman was dead in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday morning August 14th 2014

A Bay Minette woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning near the Poarch community, according to the Alabama Highway Patrol. Frankie Bracken McDuffie, 49, was killed when the 2001 Nissan she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree, according to a press release from the AHP. She was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash happened on Three Mile Road 4 miles south of Poarch around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
