Two women and a child were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Nash County Friday around 10:40 a.m. on United States Highway 264.
The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Brandi Rashaw of Nashville, 42-year-old April Felton of Nashville and 2-year-old Braylee Rashaw.
Officials said the car the family was riding in came to a stop in the left passing lane.
The driver of a truck in the right hand lane made a move to pass a camper and didn't see the family stalled in the left lane.
He collided with them from behind and all three died as a result of the crash.
Troopers said the wreck is under investigation.
Family members said they are in a daze trying to plan funerals for three family members -- a child, mother and grandmother. 1
The wreck happened just east of the Bailey city limits.
