Duval County ,FL : JSO cruiser crashes and flips At Westside on Thursday Morning ,july 2nd 2015

A police cruiser was involved in a crash Thursday morning on the Westside.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said a JSO cruiser was involved in a crash near Normandy Boulevard and Fouraker Road.
The police cruiser flipped after slamming into another car. The crash shattered the officer's windshield.
JSO said the westbound lanes of Normandy Boulevard were closed at Fouraker Road until about noon. Traffic was diverted south to Fouraker Road.
The officer was taken to a local hospital for observation.
