Garfield, MN : Head-on crash sends two to hospital on County Road 82 between Garfield and Brandon on Friday, 28th September 2018

A head-on crash on County Road 82 between Garfield and Brandon Friday afternoon sent both drivers to the hospital.

At approximately 3 p.m., the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of the crash, which was near the intersection of County Road 82 and County Road 56 (Hermanson Road).One of the drivers was extricated and then airlifted by LifeLink III at the scene, while the other driver was transported by North Ambulance to Alomere Health.

The crash is still under investigation and the severity of injuries is not known at this time. Names will be released after families are notified, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Brandon Fire Department, North Ambulance, LifeLink, Minnesota State Patrol and tow truck companies.
