Wilwaukee, WI : One person has died in a car accident near Lincoln Park in Milwaukee

At least one person is dead following a traffic accident near Lincoln Park.

Milwaukee Police Lt. Mark Stanmeyer said a 53-year-old woman was killed after the car she was riding in left Glendale Avenue and struck a tree.

The 73-year-old driver and a 75-year-old passenger were injured in the crash and taken to a hospital.

Police continue to investigate why the car left the roadway.
