ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC : Pedestrian killed in I-95 South accident in Orangeburg County on Tuesday, 12th September 2023

A pedestrian is dead following an accident in Orangeburg County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon on I-95 South about ten miles North of Bowman.
The pedestrian was on the shoulder of the southbound lane with a disabled vehicle, when a 2017 Nissan SUV traveled off the road hitting the pedestrian, according to officials.
This incident is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
