Decatur, IL : Decatur man killed in motorcycle crash on Warren County on Sunday October 9 2016

A Decatur man and former Harristown firefighter was killed Sunday evening when he lost control of his motorcycle while riding on Missouri Route 94.Missouri State Police said Zachary T. Rohde, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 6:35 p.m by Warren County Coroner Glenn Craig.

Rohde, who had lived in New Haven, Mo., had been westbound on the highway when troopers say he failed to negotiate a lefthand curve before driving off the road to the right. He was ejected as his motorcycle struck a ditch and a dirt embankment.
