A 25-year-old man from South Wayne was killed early Monday in a one-vehicle crash in Rock County, the sheriff's office said.
The crash was reported shortly before 3:30 a.m. near S. County Highway K and W. Hafeman Road in the Town of Plymouth, according to a news release from the Rock County sheriff's office.
According to the release, the man was driving a Ford F-150 truck southbound on Highway K when he entered the west shoulder of the road and lost control of the vehicle when he over-corrected, causing the vehicle to skid sideways across both lanes of traffic.
The truck struck a tree in the east ditch, which caused the vehicle to roll onto its roof.
The man was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release.
