A 23-year-old motorcyclist died after he crashed into a car trying to make a U-turn on a Bronx street on Sunday, police said.The two vehicles were driving west on Boston Road at Marolla Place in Eastchester when the unidentified driver of the car crossed in front of motorcyclist Paul Weller in an attempt to turn around at 12:21 p.m., police said.
The bike and the car collided during the ill-fated maneuver, cops said.
Emergency responders rushed the rider to Jacobi Medical Center, where Weller died, police said.
The driver of the car was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital with back pain, cops said.
It was not immediately clear if he would be arrested or ticketed.
