Motorcyclist dead after crash on US 95 - Las Vegas Sun

A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a box truck overnight on U.S. 95 in Las Vegas.Nevada Highway Patrol officials say the crash happened in the southbound lanes near Cheyenne Avenue and was reported about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.Troopers say the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities tell KVVU-TV the truck driver was not hurt, and is not expected to face charges.The station reports the crash shut down three lanes of the highway for several hours.
