Two dead in Smith County head-on collision in Lindale Texas

Two people are dead in a motorcycle/car head-on collision. The fatal wreck occurred on FM 14 , North of Tyler at approximately 3 a.m. Wednesday.Texas Department of Public Safety troopers say the motorcyclist, 51-year-old Darryl Town of Whitehouse was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver of the car, 22-year-old Payton Nicole Herrington of Lindale, died a short time later of her injuries at ETMC in Tyler.
