The wife of a bicycle rider who was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Spokane Valley says he had worked late Monday and was going fishing afterward in the Spokane River when he was struck. Tina Murray told The Spokesman-Review Robert Royer hoped to catch a fish for his 6-year-old daughter and keep it on the line and pretend she caught it herself the next day. Spokane County sheriff's Cpl. Brett Hubbell says deputies found the car that they believe struck Royer early Tuesday and have been in contact with the driver. The 47-year-old Royer was hit just a few blocks from his home. Source : Spokane Valley bicyclist killed by hit-and-run driver near his home was going fishing
