TROY, IL : Crash near Triad High School leaves 1 dead, Route 40 on Wednesday, 25th October 2023

Illinois State Police investigated a deadly crash Wednesday morning in front of Triad High School in Troy, Illinois.

Police said the crash happened at about 7:15 Wednesday morning near the intersection of Glen Rae Drive and U.S. Route 40 West. Police said it was a two-car crash that killed one person.Police have not released the identity of the person killed in the crash.

A second person was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
