Bern Township, PA : Lower Heidelberg Township man killed when motorcycle struck a tree in Berks County on Saturday afternoon, April 23, 2016

A motorcyclist died Saturday afternoon in Berks County.

John Hoffman, 55, of Lower Heidelberg Township was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner's office.

He was involved in a crash along Rebers Bridge Road in Bern Township.

The coroner's office said he died from multiple blunt force trauma. His death was ruled accidental. Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
