Bottineau, ND : Fatal crash in Bottineau County on Friday, October, 6th 2017

A Bottineau man is dead after flipping his vehicle in the ditch multiple times on Friday, October 6th.

In a statement released by the North Dakota State Patrol, 51 year-old Jeffrey Shriver was driving eastbound on Highway 5 near Bottineau when his vehicle went into the south ditch.

Shriver overcorrected and then his vehicle became sideways, causing it to flip several times which ejected Shriver from the car.

Shriver was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash is still under investigation by North Dakota State Patrol.
