BRUNSWICK, OH : Driver crashes car trying to flee police: Brunswick blotter on Monday, 15th February 2021

A driver was arrested on a number of charges after being pulled over at 12:33 p.m. Feb. for making an improper turn.

The man reportedly smelled of alcohol and refused to get out of his car when instructed to by police. Reports stated that “chemical spray was deployed and (the suspect) fled from officers in his vehicle.”

The man crashed in the front yard of 3954 Center Road and was taken into custody. He refused to submit to a chemical test and was later taken to the Brunswick Cleveland Clinic by the Brunswick Fire Department.
