Milwaukee, WI : Construction worker injured after semi-hydraulic lift collision on I-94 near Howard Ave on Thursday, Oct 8, 2015

A construction worker was taken to the hospital Thursday after a semitrailer hit the hydraulic lift the worker was in on I-94 in Milwaukee.

The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. near Howard Ave, according to Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Fran McLaughlin. The worker was taken to the hospital for possible chest, rib and leg injuries. His condition is unknown.

The semi was hauling bottled water. The trailer split, so the load had to be removed from the trailer and onto another truck before the scene could be cleared.
