Tulsa, OK : 82-year-old Claremore woman died in a Rogers County on February, Wednesday 7th 2018
An 82-year-old Claremore woman died in a Rogers County collision Wednesday morning, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Troopers also reported the death of a Texas man in a Pittsburg County highway accident.
Lou Anna Nichols was killed in a two-vehicle crash about 7:40 a.m. about a mile west of Claremore, according to the OHP.
Nichols was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu south on County Road 4120 when it failed to yield at a stop sign at Oklahoma 20 and was struck on the driver’s side by a westbound 2006 Toyota Highlander, the OHP said.
Nichols was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Toyota driver and a passenger, a 13-year-old boy, were taken to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, where they were treated and released, troopers said.
