WESTON, MA : One person was killed and one seriously injured in a head-on crash on May, Friday, 19th 2017

One person was killed and one seriously injured in a head-on crash on Rte. 20 on Friday.

The crash occurred on Boston Post Road (Rte. 20) near Buckskin Drive, according to a release from the Middlesex District Attorney’s office.

According to authorities, a vehicle traveling west on Rte. 20 struck another vehicle and then crossed into the eastbound lane, crashing head on into another vehicle.

Along with the person killed, one other person was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. Another person involved in the crash was not injured, authorities said.

The Middlesex district attorney’s office has not identified anyone involved in the crash pending notification of their family.

The crash is being investigated by the Middlesex district attorney’s office, Weston Police and the Massachusetts State Police.

The road remained closed for more than four hours while authorities investigated the crash.
