PRAIRIE GROVE, IL : A head-on collision in Prairie Grove on Saturday, November, 11th 2017

One person was transported via helicopter Saturday morning after a head-on collision in Prairie Grove.

Emergency crews responded around 9:30 a.m. to a report of a head-on collision on Route 176 between Barreville Road and Smith Road.A white Toyota sedan could be seen on the south side of Route 176 with severe front-end damage, and a semi-truck was stopped on the north side of the road. It appeared to have damage to its front end as well. An unknown liquid spilled from the truck onto the roadway.
