DALLAS, TX : Dallas police searching for suspects in two separate hit-and-run crashes that injured a 10-year-old and 13-year-old on Wednesday, 1st November 2023

Editor's note: DPD sent a correction concerning the hit-and-run on Clover Haven. DPD confirmed with WFAA that the pictured vehicle the department originally sent was not involved in the crash. But the driver involved has been identified.

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) is investigating two separate hit-and-run incidents that seriously injured a 10-year-old and 13-year-old. The first incident took place at about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18 in the 3800 block of Hammerly Drive. DPD said the investigation determined that a driver struck a 10-year-old boy who was riding on a moped and then fled the scene southbound on Hammerly.

Police said the boy, who has not been identified, was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
