A 90-year-old woman died Friday night in a two-vehicle crash on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

About 11:50 p.m., Christopher Bennett, 24, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu south near Legacy Boulevard when he rear-ended a 1983 Cadillac Eldorado.

The Cadillac rotated after the impact, ejecting Audrey Oberg of Tampa from the car. She died at the scene, troopers said. The Cadillac driver, John Oberg, 87, of Tampa was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in critical condition.

Bennett sustained minor injuries. No charges have been filed.
