Delaware,OH : One dead after single-car crash on I-71 in Delaware County on September, Thursday 14th 2017

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says one person is dead after a crash on I-71 in Delaware County.

The crash occurred around 9am Thursday just north of the U.S. 36/37 interchange. The Patrol says 27-year-old Chelsea Dowler of Springfield was driving a 1993 Dodge Dakota.

The vehicle traveled off the east side of the road, striking a tree and a fence before coming to rest in a corn field.
