Steuben County, IN : 6-year-old, 3 others hurt in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning, November 12, 2014
A three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Steuben County sent four people to the hospital, including a small child who was airlifted from the scene.
The crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. when Ted Johnson, 24, of Angola, was headed north on Indiana 827 and hit an SUV that pulled out in front of him, according to the Steuben County Sheriff's Office.
After Johnson rear-ended the SUV driven by 47-year-old Angola resident Rae Bost, his vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and was hit by a southbound vehicle driven by 26-year-old Megan Ketcham of Angola, according to police.
A 6-year-old in Ketcham's car, Kolbie Ketcham, suffered a head injury and was airlifted from the scene, the sheriff's office said.
Bost, Ketcham and Johnson were also airlifted from the crash with injuries, police said.
