Elk Lick Township, PA : 2 killed in 3-vehicle crash on Thursday, 8th November 2018
Two people were killed in a three-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Mason Dixon Highway in Elk Lick Township. A Salisbury firefighter said that the crash involved a coal truck, a pickup truck and a sport utility vehicle. The wreck caused the road, also known as Route 219, to close in both directions in Salisbury and near the Maryland state line. Salisbury, Meyersdale and Garrett County, Maryland, fire departments and Meyersdale EMS assisted state police at the scene. A state police forensic unit also responded. Crews were still on scene and the road was still closed at Thursday's press deadline. Additional details were not immediately available Thursday night.
