Port Angeles, WA : 38-year-old man dead when his pickup truck hit a tree on Sunday afternoon September 7th 2014

The Clallam County sheriff's office says a 38-year-old Port Angeles man was killed when his pickup truck hit a tree. The sheriff's office says the truck had been reported driving erratically through a field earlier Sunday afternoon and also hit the side of a house. A passenger injured in the pickup truck was airlifted to a Seattle hospital. The sheriff's office say speed and alcohol apparently contributed to the crash.
