An early Thursday morning motorcycle crash sent a man to the hospital with what are thought to be nonlife-threatening injuries, Killeen police said.
Just before 2 a.m. Thursday, a 40-year-old man wrecked his motorcycle near Rancier Avenue and Westcliff Road, said Carroll Smith, Killeen Police Department spokeswoman. The man was airlifted from the scene to Scott & White Hospital in Temple. The wreck occurred near the 6100 block of Westcliff, which is just north of Rancier.
The man was traveling east on Westcliff, and “for some unknown reasons, laid his bike down,” Smith said, adding the motorcycle went over the curb and onto Rancier.
