Blount County , AL : 61- Yearsold woman killed after truck crashed and overturned on Friday afternoon,April 24 2015

A 61-year-old Oneonta woman was killed Friday afternoon after the truck she was a passenger in overturned in Blount County.

Brenda Crowe was ejected during the single-vehicle crash at 1:40 p.m. Friday, April 24.

The driver of the Chevrolet pick-up, 65-year-old Woody Dewey Woodward, and another passenger were both ejected from the truck when it struck an embankment and overturned on Blount County 27.

All three were taken to a nearby hospital for their injuries, where Crowe later died.

Alabama State Trooper said no one was wearing a seatbelt, though they continue to investigate the crash.
