Bowling Green, KY : Two people injured in 3-car wreck in Glasgow on Thursday, July 28, 2016
Glasgow police were called at 5:20 a.m. Thursday to a three-vehicle injury collision at the intersection of Ky. 90 and Veterans Outer Loop.
Officers determined that a 2002 Ford Escape was traveling south on Veterans Outer Loop when the driver, Kim Wheat, 35, of Glasgow, failed to stop at the red light, according to a news release from Glasgow Police Department. Wheat’s vehicle entered the intersection, striking a 2007 Toyota driven by Mitzi Eudy, 57, of Glasgow, which was traveling east on Ky. 90.
The impact caused Eudy’s vehicle to strike a 1995 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Jetron Robertson, 64, of Bowling Green, which was in the northbound turning lane of Veterans Outer Loop, according to the release. Both Wheat and Eudy were taken by ambulance to T.J. Samson Community Hospital and treated for their injuries.
Robertson reported no injuries at the time of the collision. Everyone involved in the collision was wearing a seat belt.
