Sacramento ,CA : 21- Years old Jesus Castillo killed and two others injured after crashed into the vehicle then lost control of car on Saturday morning ,April 25 2015

A passenger inside a vehicle died after the driver, who was subsequently arrested on DUI charges, rear-ended another vehicle on the shoulder of Interstate 5 in Sacramento early Saturday morning.

The California Highway Patrol said Nicholas Balestra, 23, was driving south on I-5 near Seamas Avenue around 3 a.m.

Balestra, of West Sacramento, crashed into the vehicle then lost control of the car, which spun and came to rest in the third lane of the freeway facing the opposite direction.

Another passenger, 22, was taken to UC Davis Medical Center for minor injuries, CHP said.

Jesus Castillo, 21, died in the crash. He was from Sacramento.

Balestra was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
