Atlanta, GA : 23-year-old Alexander Reyes died in motorcycle collision with driver on Frey Road in Cobb County on Sunday, March 20, 2016

Cobb County police are investigating a weekend crash near Kennesaw that left a 23-year-old motorcyclist dead.

Celestine Kiprono, 32, of Acworth, was driving a blue 2010 Toyota Rav4 northbound on Frey Road just after 2 p.m. Sunday, Cobb police Sgt. Dana Pierce said Monday.

When Kiprono tried to turn left onto Parliament Garden Way, she hit a black 2012 Yamaha YZFR1 motorcycle headed southbound on Frey Road.

The motorcyclist, Alexander Reyes of Kennesaw, was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Kiprono and her passenger were not injured in the crash.

Charges have not been filed in the accident, which remains under investigation.
