Anderson, SC : Driver ticketed after paramedic injured in Anderson Co. ambulance crash on Tuesday, December 20, 2016
Two people, including a paramedic, were injured following a collision involving an ambulance in Anderson County Tuesday, officials said.
A car reportedly pulled out and hit a Medshore ambulance head on while traveling on Dobbins Bridge Road at Meljo Drive shortly before 6:30 p.m.
The coroner said one paramedic and one other person suffered minor injuries and were being treated. The Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore owns Medshore and was alerted to the incident but no fatalities were reported.
Troopers said the driver of the vehicle that hit the ambulance was ticketed with improper turn.
