CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC : Deputies investigating deadly crash in Adams Run on Monday, 9th September 2024

Two people are dead after an early-morning crash on Savannah Highway in Charleston County.
Deputies were called to the area of 8600 block of Savannah Highway in Adams Run for reports of a single-vehicle crash around 2:30 a.m. Monday, Charleston County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lexi Douglas said.
An initial investigation determined the vehicle was traveling north on Savannah Highway when it went off the side of the road to the right, struck a tree and overturned.
Douglas said both the driver and the passenger died at the scene.
