GLASTONBURY, CT : State police investigating wrong way driver crash on Route 2 on Friday, 2nd February 2024

A 45-year-old Plainville man was charged with operating under the influence after driving the wrong way on Route 2.

State police say they were called out to Route 2 Eastbound in the area of Exit 11 in Glastonbury at 8:55 p.m. Friday for a report of a wrong-way driver.

Before troopers arrived on scene, it was reported that the vehicle traveling the wrong way had struck another vehicle head-on.
