LOUISVILLE, KY : 1 dead after fiery crash on I-65 near downtown Louisville on Saturday, 28th September 2024

Lanes of I-65 South heading into downtown Louisville near the Kennedy Bridge are back open after a fatal, fiery semi crash.

TRIMARC confirmed traffic in the area resumed following the Saturday evening incident.

LMPD said the crash happened around 4:58 p.m. at mile-marker 136.6 leaving multiple lanes blocked until 9:15 p.m.
