Driving under the influence is being blamed for a one-car rollover crash early Sunday at the interchange between interstates 182 and 82, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Marcelina C. Brito, 25, of Outlook, was merging on to I-82 west at 4:50 a.m. when she drove onto the right shoulder, lost control of the 2007 Toyota Yaris she was driving and rolled over, the state patrol said. She was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, along with passengers Jennifer M. Brito, 23, and Maria A. Enriquez, 24, both of Benton City.
Marcelina and Jennifer Brito were listed in satisfactory condition Sunday afternoon, while Enriquez was treated and released.
Marcelina Brito faces a DUI charge, state patrol said. Her car was totaled.
