One driver suffered a minor injury and his dog ran away following a rollover crash involving a minivan and a semi truck on Routes 11 and 15 on Tuesday.
State Police at Selinsgrove said David J. Rogers, 73, of Selinsgrove drove his 2006 Chrysler Town & Country from a private lot 262 feet from the intersection with Monroe Street into the path of a 2014 Freightliner driven by Brian F. Matthews Sr., 64, of Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada.
Police said Rogers’ vehicle overturned onto its roof and came to rest on the shoulder of the roadway.
Matthews was unharmed. Rogers suffered a suspected minor injury, police said, and was transported to Geisinger Medical Center. A Geisinger spokeswoman had no condition on Rogers Tuesday evening.
According to the police report, Rogers’ tan pet beagle Buddy ran away in an unknown direction after the impact.
