Fort Worth, TX : Man dies after crashing car in northeast Fort Worth on Sunday September 18 2016

A man died early Sunday after crashing into a light pole on Texas 360.

Eddie Bernard, 59, died at 1:55 a.m., according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. Fort Worth police said the vehicle he was in has an Irving address.

Fort Worth police said Barnard was northbound in the 4500 block of Texas 360 when for an unknown reason the vehicle left the road, struck a light pole and rolled before coming to rest on the shoulder.

Bernard was the sole occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
