SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA : 1 seriously injured in head-on crash in San Joaquin County on Thursday, 31st January 2019

A driver was seriously injured in a head-on crash Thursday morning in San Joaquin County.

The California Highway Patrol said the driver of a Toyota Tacoma traveling north on Thornton Road crossed into the opposite lane and crashed into a Ford box truck.The driver of the Toyota was taken to the hospital with major injuries, CHP Stockton said.

There were heavy patches of fog throughout the county Thursday morning.

No other details have been released.
