Milwaukee, WI : 50-year-old man died after a car crash on West Silver Spring Avenue on Monday night, Nov 23, 2015

One person is dead after a car crash on West Silver Spring Avenue Monday night.

Milwaukee police said a 50-year-old man died at the scene after he lost control of the car and struck a tree near 93rd Street just before 10 p.m.

Police said the man had stolen the 2003 Ford Focus from a nearby parking lot minutes before the crash.

The man's name has not been released.
