FRESNO, CA : Police officer and another driver stopped on Hwy. 180 hurt in crash by other vehicle on Thursday, 4th January 2024

A Fresno police officer and another person were injured when a car crashed into the back of the officer's patrol vehicle that was stopped with another car on Highway 180 Thursday night.

It happened on 180 east of Chestnut Avenue around 6:30 p.m.

The police department was responding to a possible DUI and pulled the suspected driver over.

The officer and suspect were standing in front of the patrol car when another vehicle crashed into it and pushed it forward into both of them.
