Hopkinton, MA : Beverly man dies in crash on Mass. Pike on Wednesday, 31st October 2018

A 30-year-old Beverly man died Wednesday night after police say the 2002 Jeep Liberty he was driving collided with the back of a tractor-trailer eastbound on the Mass. Pike in Hopkinton.

Police were called to the scene near the I-495 interchange around 6:30 p.m. Hopkinton firefighters pulled the Beverly man from his vehicle, and he was declared dead from his injuries.

The driver of the truck, a 42-year-old man from Quebec, Canada, was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation by state police.
