CHATHAM, VA : Two people died in head-on crash on Sunday night August 10th 2014

Virginia State Police say they are searching for a motorist who fled the scene of an accident that killed two people in Pittsylvania County. The Danville Register & Bee reports the head-on accident occurred about 9:30 p.m. Sunday. State police Sgt. Bob Carpentieri says two people died, while two injured juveniles were taken to Lynchburg General Hospital. Carpentieri says police are seeking a man who fled on foot.
