Jefferson Twp, OH : 63-year-old Jay S. Garcia killed in a single-vehicle crash in Logan County on Sunday morning, January 11, 2015

A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Logan County.
Ohio State Highway Patrol Marysville Post responded to the crash at approximately. 7:12 a.m. on U.S. 33 just northwest of County Road 5 in Jefferson Twp.
A silver 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, driven by the lone occupant 63-year-old Jay S. Garcia, was traveling northwest when the car went off the left side of the road, into the median and struck a guardrail, according to OSHP.
Garcia sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, where he was pronounced dead.
Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be factors. The crash remains under investigation.
