Orange County, FL : Tracy Blakeman, 55, killed in single-vehicle crash on State Road 50 in Christmas on Monday morning, March 14, 2016

One person is dead following a crash on State Road 50 in Christmas on Monday morning.

Troopers were sent to the scene of the single-vehicle crash, off Colonial Drive and St. Nicholas Avenue, just after 7:30 a.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, it's unclear why the driver drifted off to the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.

Officials said the driver, identified as Tracy Blakeman, 55, of Titusville, was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
