Falmouth, MA : Motorcyclist injured after a car pulled into his path on Route 151 Monday morning, May 9, 2016

A motorcycle operator was brought to Falmouth Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries Monday morning after a car pulled into his path on Route 151.

The man riding the Harley-Davidson was headed west on Route 151 when a 2016 Subaru Forester collided with him after making a left-hand turn off Ashumet Road, Falmouth police Lt. Sean Doyle said.

The Subaru driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way, Doyle said.

The accident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. by the Cape Cod Fairgrounds, Falmouth Fire Lt. Scott Starbard said.

Route 151 was closed to one lane while fire and police officials cleared the scene but was later restored to two lanes.
