St. Paul, MN : 79-year-old woman dies in two-car crash in Arden Hills on Friday, December, 22nd 2017

A 79-year-old New Brighton woman died Friday about 4 p.m. as a result of a two-vehicle crash in Arden Hills.

Betty Lou Lundeen was driving south on Snelling Avenue in a 2004 Honda Accord when she made a left turn in front of another vehicle, State Patrol records show.

Michael Scott Ancheta, 35, of Brooklyn Park, who was driving his 2015 Honda Civic north on Snelling Avenue, was unable to avoid a collision.

Lundeen died from the impact. Her passenger, Carl Darwin Lundeen, 81, also of New Brighton, and Ancheta suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening, according to troopers.
