Kent County, MI : One man dead and two police officers injured after a car crash in Coventry on Monday February 15 2016

One man is dead and two police officers were injured after a car crash in Coventry Monday.
Police responded to the accident on Sandy Bottom Road around 4:45 p.m. where they found the male driver unconscious and trapped in the vehicle. When freed, the operator was sent to Kent County Hospital where he later died.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, though police believe the victim may have suffered a medical event while driving.
Two officers were injured when trying to free the driver and were also taken to Kent Hospital where they were later released.
